Without a club since summer
Nikola Kalinic returns to his youth club Hajduk Split for the second time. His contract with the top Croatian club expired last summer, and the 35-year-old veteran striker has been without a club since then – he has now signed until the end of the season. The special thing about it: Kalinic plays for HNK for a symbolic euro per month, as sports director Mindaugas Nikolicius confirmed.
During his long career, the 42-time Croatia national player was active at AC Florence, AC Milan, AS Roma, Atlético Madrid and Blackburn Rovers, among others. Kalinic played the most games for Dnipro Dnipropetrovsk (120).
