Soumaya Sahla will stop as chairman of the VVD justice and security network, she reports in a statement on Wednesday. In recent days, there was much criticism from the PVV and JA21 about her work for the party, because she was convicted in the past for membership of a terrorist organization. The VVD therefore found Sahla’s position “uncomfortable”.
