Serbian ex-footballer Dusan Petkovic was arrested in Amsterdam in a major police operation by the authorities.

According to the Espresso website the authorities arrested eight people in the attack at the main airport in the Netherlands. They are suspected of trying to smuggle as much as 115 kilos of cocaine into Europe.

The professional career of Dusan Petkovic, 48, lasted from 1992 to 2007. In addition to his home country, Toppari also played in Wolfsburg in Germany and Spartak Moscow in Russia.
