Return to Spain
Ex-Bayern professional Marc Roca is leaving Premier League relegated Leeds United for Real Betis for the time being. The 26-year-old midfielder will be loaned out to his home country of Spain for a season, where he previously only played for his training club Espanyol Barcelona. In 2020 he moved from there to FC Bayern for 9 million euros.
Roca joined Leeds from the German record champions for €12m last summer and made 36 appearances there, in which he contributed one goal and two assists. The former youth international’s market value has plummeted in the latest England update – from €15m to €10m, still putting him in the top 10 most valuable players in the Betis squad.
