Five times German champion and Champions League winner: After five years at Bayern Munich, Corentin Tolisso is going back to France.
After leaving Bayern Munich, Corentin Tolisso is returning to Olympique Lyon. As the French first division club announced on Friday, the midfielder signed a contract until the summer of 2027.

“Lyon is my city, that’s where I grew up, that’s where I feel good and I’m very happy to come back,” explained Tolisso. His former Munich teammate Jérôme Boateng has also been under contract in Lyon since summer 2021.
Tolisso switched from Lyon to Bavaria in the summer of 2017 for a fee of 41.5 million euros, a record purchase at the time. However, the French international was repeatedly thrown back by injuries. His contract in Munich, which expired at the end of June, was not extended.
Tolisso, world champion of 2018, won the German championship five times and the Champions League once with FC Bayern.
