Former European soccer champion Alain Giresse is the new national coach of Kosovo.
The 69-year-old Frenchman has been given a contract until the end of qualifying for the EURO 2024. Giresse, who was part of France’s European champions team alongside idol Michel Platini in 1984, succeeds Swiss Bernard Challandes, who retired in October.
