Familiar with Toddlers and Tiaras Kailia Posey, 16, is dead. His body was found in a car in Washington state.
Many may recognize him better from the gif animation where Kailia grins wide.
The mother of a TV star, Marcy Posey Gatterman, posted a touching post on Facebook in memory of her daughter. He asks followers for privacy in the midst of grief.
– I have no words or thoughts. The beautiful little girl is gone, Gatterman writes in her publication.
He commented to TMZ that Kaila’s death was a suicide.
– Although she was a talented teenager with a bright future ahead of her, unfortunately at one point she made a hasty decision to end her worldly life.
The former child star celebrated his birthday just a few weeks ago.
Her parents have set up a foundation named after the child star to help students in crisis.
At a young age on television
Kailia’s career in the world of entertainment started at a very young age. The Toddlers and Tiaras series was filmed in 2009-2013. The program followed young children who participated in popular beauty pageants.
The same program starred as well Alana Thompson aka Honey Boo Boo.
Kailia continued to participate in beauty pageants even after the TV series. Last February, she competed for the Miss Washington Teen USA title.
