Ex-BVB star Ilkay Gündogan believes under national coach Hansi Flick that the DFB selection will return to the top of the world.
“Hansi Flick brought in a new dynamic. Maybe that was the change we needed,” said Gündogan in an interview with the “Frankfurter Allgemeine Zeitung”.
After two bitter tournament disappointments at the 2018 World Cup and EURO 2020, Flick took over the post from Joachim Löw.
