Ex-Bundesliga professional
Ex-Bundesliga professional Mario Vrancic will also play for Stoke City in the coming season. As the Championship club announced on Monday, the contract was extended by another year until June 30, 2023. The 32-year-old midfielder joined the Potters on a free transfer from Norwich City last summer, for whom he was directly involved in ten goals in 35 games.
In 2017 Vrancic moved from Darmstadt 98 to England to join the Canaries. He was previously under contract with SC Paderborn 07, BVB and 1. FSV Mainz 05, among others. Vrancic played 76 games (eight goals) in the German Oberhaus.
