Tosun is coming back
Third division relegated Türkgücü Munich has signed the former Bundesliga professional Caiuby. The regional league club from the Bayern squad reported the signature of the 34-year-old winger and the return of midfielder Ünal Tosun (29) on Thursday evening.
Caiuby was last without a club after his contract with Greek club AO Kavala expired. In Germany he played for VfL Wolfsburg, with whom he won the championship in 2009, MSV Duisburg, FC Ingolstadt 04 and FC Augsburg. The Brazilian reached his highest market value with the Fuggerstadt team: 5 million euros. After a loan to Grasshopper Club Zurich as a result of several indisciplines, Caiuby’s contract there was terminated in October 2019.
After leaving Greece, the left winger initially kept fit at VfB Eichstätt, who were considering a commitment. According to the “Augsburger Allgemeine”, in mid-July he had to be taken into custody after being accused of bodily harm and the transfer failed.
