Ex-Bayern flop Renato Sanches switches to PSG

Now the ink is dry: As expected, French champions Paris Saint-Germain have signed former Bayern professional Renato Sanches from league competitor OSC Lille.

The Portuguese received a contract until 2027, the transfer fee should be 15 million euros.

Sanches moved from Benfica to Munich for 35 million euros in 2016, but was never able to meet expectations there. In 2019 he moved on to Lille for around 20 million euros.

The 24-year-old is PSG’s fourth signing after Portuguese midfielder Vitinha, French striker Hugo Ekitike and RB Leipzig defender Nordi Mukiele.

In addition, the already loaned Nuno Mendes was committed.
