Ex-Bayer talent
A year after moving to Genoa CFC, attacker Güven Yalcin is moving back to the Süper Lig. The 24-year-old, who achieved direct promotion back to Serie A with the Rossoblu last season, is moving to Fatih Karagümrük on a one-year loan deal .
The Düsseldorf-born Yalcin moved from Bayer Leverkusen’s youth team to Besiktas in 2018, followed by a six-month loan to US Lecce at the beginning of 2021, before Genoa brought him to Italy for the second time in the summer of 2022. The striker played 25 games for the Rossoblu, but failed to score.
