The men of RoddelPraat have absolutely no idea that Bas Smit hates it when the media reports negatively about him. In the latest episode of their infamous gossip column, not only is he strongly criticized, but presenter Dennis Schouten also spreads a very spicy gossip about the 42-year-old influencer.
Self-righteous jellyfish
It doesn’t matter to Dennis that his co-host Jan Roos is one of Bas’s best friends. The brutal presenter speaks of ‘the man who always laughs so retarded’. “Very well-known Netherlands… Very self-righteous, arrogant, overfed Holland was there last weekend: De Amsterdamse Zomer, Bas Smit’s spectacle.”
Studio guest Nicol Kremers, Peter Gillis’ ex, sometimes sees Bas passing by Insta. Dennis asks her in Gossip Talk: “Do you think: a nice man or a self-righteous jellyfish?”
Nicol: “I don’t think ‘nice man’, no. Certainly not. No.”
One hundred employees
Bas is angry with the media because they wrote about the amateurish end of his concert last weekend. Dennis: “Last year it was also a debacle because there was no booze. People paid a lot of money for way overpriced tickets. And this year everything was just stopped during the main act.”
Last year no one could get a drink at that concert. Bas himself blamed staff who did not show up. “A hundred employees then cancel? That’s Bas’s shit story. That man just can’t manage that.”
Jan Roos defends Bas: “Bas couldn’t plan? Bas is just standing there drinking a beer with me. Isn’t it still in production? What are you doing strange?”
Evicted
According to Dennis, Bas is also angry about the ‘pink’ rumors about him. “Sometimes there are people who have made a joke in a radio program that Bas would like men and he immediately called that radio man. Bram Krikke was immediately called: ‘I don’t want you to say I’m gay anymore.’”
According to both Jan and Dennis, a ‘reliable’ source of GossipPraat now comes up with a spicy gossip about Bas. “Bas Smit was evicted three months ago by Nicolette van Dam, sent to the holiday home in Marbella for a week, because Nicolette van Dam found out that Bas had sex with Jody Bernal.”
One thousand percent true
A cheerful gossip, but it does not sound very credible. It is not necessarily obvious: both Bas and Jody have a female love partner and children. However, this gossip follows closely juice from Yvonne Coldeweijer about Bas during a trip in Hong Kong with someone got into a taxi. But that was with a female person…
Dennis nevertheless claims that it is really true. “One thousand percent true. I can’t show the proof, because then you know who it’s from, but a thousand percent true. Bas Smit and Jody Bernal. (…) I wouldn’t be surprised if Bas and Jody’s videos leaked again.”
Gentlemen’s love
Dennis to his studio guest Nicol: “Are you surprised that Bas also goes with guys?”
Nicol: “Well, I have seen him pass by in the films of De Amsterdamse Zomer.”
Dennis: “He looks like a gay, doesn’t he?”
Nicol: “I didn’t think he necessarily likes women, but I don’t know.”
Dakkie
One thing is certain: Bas is certainly vain. For example, he talks about his haircut, which he himself calls his ‘dakkie’. “I’m starting to film myself, but this is the first time I’ve seen my dakkie myself. Yes, I washed my hair myself last night, but it looks like it’s not mine that hair. Hahaha”, it sounds.
