Last year, Evi Hanssen (43) was told that her mother is terminally ill. Arlette (75) has breast cancer with metastases in the liver and bones. A hard verdict, but also one that they have both come to terms with in the meantime. “I’m in a privileged position at my mom’s big farewell procession,” says the presenter in ‘Story’. “That is intense, but also a very big gift.” What follows is a sober and honest double conversation about death and life, and the sometimes thin line between them. “I’m not afraid to die.”
