Vormer is not the only strongman who can keep Zulte Waregem on board. In a video on social media, Jelle Vossen also announces that he is signing up for two more seasons at the Gaverbeek. Vossen, now 35, was out of contract and therefore free. But in the video he mentions that he is making an emotional decision here: a choice with the heart:

D’Hollander and De fauw will also stay

Coach Frederik D’Hollander and assistant Davy De fauw also continue to play at Zulte Waregem. Under their short leadership, Essevee almost succeeded – in five match days – in making the rescue last season.
