Fenerbahce’s former coach, Vitor Pereira, answered the Everton allegations in an interview with the British press.
Speaking to Sky Sports, the Portuguese coach confirmed that he had received an offer from the English team, and said that he was waiting for the club’s decision.
Pereira’s statements are as follows:
“Watching a game at Goodison Park and seeing the fans inspired me to become a manager. All my career, I’ve worked under pressure. Of course, I still want the job. It’s a decision for the club. I can give my 100% football 24 hours a day.
Everton have other contenders and I know now is the time to decide. They told me to wait for the decision and stay calm. They’re happy with the meetings we’ve had, that’s all.”
