Evert Santegoeds does not rule it out: ‘Duncan on the mushrooms?’

Evert Santegoeds, just like Gerard Joling, does not rule out that Duncan Laurence is on drugs. According to critics such as Angela de Jong, he looks rather hazy in his eyes. “Maybe a mushroom?”

Duncan Laurence is increasingly annoying with his behavior. In particular, the fact that he fails enormously as a mentor of Eurovision entry Mia & Dion earns him a lot of criticism. After their second fake performance, Duncan recorded an incredibly blurry video of him walking through a room as if he were on some kind of LSD trip.

On drugs?

Gerard Joling went all out on that in front of the Shownieuws camera. “I think that Duncan has started walking next to his shoes incredibly. Only wants to be interviewed in English. It’s like he’s on drugs with those weird videos he sends everywhere, that he just doesn’t pay attention and looks around.”

What does Evert Santegoeds think of these statements? He says in his podcast Strictly Private: “This comes from someone who never really has an opinion about colleagues. Gerard has of course had the necessary collisions with Gordon, but is otherwise known as a colleague for everyone.”

Lifted over horse

Gerard does not say this just like that, says Evert. “He even honors the old artists and rarely does this, speaking negatively about someone who is in the news. I find it remarkable.”

According to Evert, it is evident that Duncan arouses a lot of annoyance among people. “I also think he is a troublemaker who was not even able to enjoy his victory at the time. He’s been struggling ever since. And when you see what he’s done so far, it’s not that much. What we are saddled with now is also due to him.”

Mushroom Soup

Evert also does not rule out that Duncan is on the means. “I’m not a big fan of it. I agree with Gerard on that point. Could it be a mushroom or something? Don’t know.”

Colleague Jordi Versteegden: “Hahahaha. Oh. Well, well, well, well, well.”
