Both RTL Boulevard and Shownieuws still have daily items about the controversial breakup between Gordon and his ex-fiancé Gavin Rozario. The reason that attention is paid to this almost every day is because the cause of the fracture is still unknown. Only Yvonne Coldeweijer is aware of this for now.

Call Burberry

Evert Santegoeds continues to hunt for it, he tells the desk of Show news. “There is still very little news to tell, but we want to hear from one or the other how that went. So what have we done? We called that Burberry store in Melbourne this morning. Very early, because it is a lot earlier there, of course.”

And then? “We asked about Gavin and the editors were told that he has not worked there for a long time. That’s weird because Gordon was bragging about having such a good job at Burberry and on 538 on the radio he said this at the end of March and according to Burberry he hasn’t worked there since February.”

“Why did Gordon say that?”

Gordon said in the radio interview about Gavin at the time: “He has a very good job in Australia. He works at Burberry. He’s got his stuff done. You know: this is good. You feel this, you notice this in everything.”

Shownieuws host Manuel Venderbos now: “So one of the two has his affairs in order?”

Evert: “Yes, well, we understand that he now works in another clothing store, so maybe he has been promoted or bought away. You sometimes see that at the PC Hooftstraat. Then someone works in one store and suddenly he works across the street at another.”

‘Not quite right’

That could be a theory, says Evert. “In Melbourne you also have a PC Hooftstraat, so maybe that’s the case. Or did Gordon have other reasons to say that, or to make it look nicer, or I don’t know. But yes, it is not the only thing that is not quite right about that story.”

He concludes: “That ghosting is of course also the word you hear all the time and that also comes from somewhere. Something happened there too. Maybe we’ll hear more about it.”
