When the arts talk
Two months full of appointments in 23 cities, including literature, art, philosophy, cinema, science, theatre, comics with Zerocalcare receiving the Siae/La Milanesiana Award, and from this year also sport with an evening dedicated to Federica Pellegrini.

All this, with over 200 guests, is The Milanesiana 2023conceived and directed by Elisabetta Sgarbi. “Returns” is the theme of this editioninspired by the work of Nigerian poet and war storyteller Ben Okri.
Among the many appointments dedicated to literature, those with Claudio Magris, Percival Everett and Paolo Giordano, Joël Dicker, Petros Markaris. For an important anniversary – the 140th anniversary of the birth of Franz Kafka – goes on stage A report for an academyshow inspired by the story of the Bohemian writer with Tommaso Ragno (Milan, Teatro Franco Parenti, 17 June).

Not to mention the exhibitions – 8 from June 13 – including Ezio Gribaudo-Poetry of matterdedicated to the artist, publisher and graphic designer with a selection of his works from the 60s to today (Turin, Venaria Reale, 22 June-24 September).

Eco-sustainable notes

The Dark Charm of Tragedy
They resume with Laura Marinoni in Medea the theatrical appointments of India Foundation, in the spectacular theater in the Neapolis Archaeological Park. The tragedy of Euripides is translated by Federico Tiezzi and directed by Massimo Fusilli.

Alessandro Albertin alternates with this show, with Prometheus bound of Aeschylus (until 4 June), directed by Leo Muscato. They close Peace by Aristophanes (June 9-23) e Ulysses, the last Odyssey… (June 29-July 2), directed by Giuliano Peparini.
