“WE WILL HAVE A DIFFICULT TIME IN FENERBAHÇE!”
In a recent conversation with PAOK’s Sporting Director Jose Boto, I realized how difficult Jorge Jesus’ character is. It seems that Branco will have a hard time in Fenerbahçe.
He came to PAOK to become a successful Athletic Director, expectations were high for him, but overall he failed to connect with the team. As I mentioned in the examples, his personal dialogue with the team was very bad.
PAOK made 5 transfers in the summer of 2019. Esiti took on Douglas Augusto, Stoch, Zivkovic and Rodrigo Soares. Soares was the only transfer that Branco gave 100% approval to. When you’re the Athletic Director, something always goes wrong when transfers that you don’t approve of are made. The PAOK adventure was one of them for Branco.
