The Evening Show is in fourth place on the ratings list, with over a million viewers. Only the NOS News from 8 p.m. (1.9 million viewers) and 6 p.m. (more than 1 million viewers) and the RTL Half Eight News (nearly 1.1 million) were viewed more closely. All other programs drew less than a million viewers last night.
The program The Evening Show with Arjen Lubach can be seen four days a week on NPO 1. The satirical show went viral last week with a video about the Russian referendum in Ukraine. The item, in which Lubach argues that Russia should join the Netherlands because of old historical ties, was viewed many millions of times. The video is also circulating in Russian Telegram groups.
