On the occasion of its 25th anniversary, the Cologne fair fashion brand Lanius is presenting a capsule collection with model, singer-songwriter and presenter Eva Padberg. The collection called “Lanius Essentials selected by Eva Padberg” will be released in autumn/winter 2024/25 and consists of five key looks selected by Padberg.
These include, among other things, a double-breasted eggshape coat with quilting made of organic virgin wool, a two-piece suit consisting of a sweater and a narrow, ankle-length skirt made of organic merino wool, a bouclé blazer and Marlene trousers made of denim with a deep pleat. The clear cuts and the reduced coloring are intended to draw the focus on the material and the quality of the raw materials. Padberg reveals about her personal selection criteria: “It was important to me that all the pieces could be combined with each other and thus offer a suitable outfit for every occasion.”
In general, she wants her clothing to be “long-lasting, well-made and made from high-quality, unpolluted materials. I have adapted my own consumption more and more in recent years. “I buy less, but more proactively and hopefully more sustainably than I did five years ago,” says Model in an interview about the cooperation. In general, her wardrobe has become more manageable, which has made her life extremely easier.
