Eva Jinek was regarded as a talk show queen at the public broadcaster, but lost her shine at RTL 4. When she faced competition from Today Inside, she became a bit of a lost cause. But the tide has turned in recent weeks and now, three days before her maternity leave starts, she also receives a big compliment from Angela de Jong.

Since the men of VI went on vacation, Eva’s ratings have been on the rise again. The difference is so huge that, according to experts, she should simply demand a VI clause in her contract with the channel. That means that she demands that her program does not start at 10 p.m., but at 10:30 p.m., only after VI has ended.
Those higher viewing figures seem to give Eva the confidence that she can still do it, because she is also making quite a stride in terms of content. She had an exceptionally nice conversation about adoption yesterday and she got quite full.

The fact that Eva suddenly finds her way up again is very tactical in terms of timing. After giving birth in September, she will negotiate a new contract with RTL 4.
