Eva Jinek has to deal with strong criticism from one of her regular dinner guests: Marc-Marie Huijbregts. He thinks that the presenter has failed during her interview with Glennis Grace.

Glennis Grace was at the talk show table of Eva Jinek last week to tell an incoherent story about her misconduct in the Jumbo. It seems to have done the singer little good, but the hostess has also been criticized. For example, Marc-Marie Huijbregts thinks that the presenter is too soft was for Glennis.

‘It had to be harder’

Marc-Marie feels a sense of disappointment about Eva. “I thought, and I’m a really big fan of Eva because I think she’s really great and stuff, but sometimes I think she can give a little more resistance to things like that,” he says in his weekly podcast.

Co-host Aaf Brandt Corstius: “Yes, sharper, yes. harder.”

Marc-Marie: “Glennis was back on the lionesses tour the whole time, saying, ‘Yes, I’m a mother and a lioness.’”

Aaf: “Yes, that is of course her defense now.”

‘I missed that show’

Marc-Marie: “Yeah, but she’s adding all sorts of things, you know, like, ‘Yeah, but I have breasts.’ Yeah, that’s not a reason is it? If you are a mother, do you want to raise your child correctly? What kind of education is this? I missed that tone a bit.”

Aaf: “At one point she did say: ‘What possessed you?’ I thought that was a good way to put it, but I think she always thinks: I shouldn’t be too hard on her, because then she might say less and then she becomes defensive. Because Glennis Grace is of course also armed to the teeth.”

Harry also critical

Media critic Harry Vermeegen also thinks that Eva has failed. “Boy-young-young. That Jinek. The ‘great critical TV talent’. Well, what have we seen of that during this whole interview? She just really sat there like a very understanding, mumbling grandma. That was Jinek,” he says on YouTube.

Harry thinks it’s worst that Eva didn’t say anything about the photo in which Glennis’ son was supposedly bloodied. In reality, he only had a scratch. “And Jinek doesn’t say anything about that. Why, her son comes home bloodied? That’s just not the case, so Jinek, open your mouth!”

“Jinek let it all go and let it all take its course. Glennis was bad, but Jinek was even worse.”

Angela is positive

TV columnist Angela de Jong thinks that Eva has done well. “The interview itself was a breath of fresh air,” she wrote in the AD last week. “

“By listening carefully and asking well-timed questions, Eva let her guest quietly dig her own grave. The falsehoods and contradictions piled up on their own.”
