‘Eva Jinek did dance at VI-graf!’

Today Inside editor Sam van Royen, the son of Heleen van Royen, maintains that Eva Jinek did indeed dance on Johan Derksen’s grave at the party after her season finale.

Johan Derksen opened fire on Eva Jinek on Thursday evening, after he was told by his editor Sam van Royen what she shouted at the party after her season finale. “We got that Today Inside off the tube anyway!”, she would have shouted according to Sam.

“It did happen!”

Live on television Johan called her an ‘uncollegial scumbag’ and the presenter had a terrible time with that. She just couldn’t sleep the next night. The worst part of the whole situation? There is nothing true. At least, that’s what Eva said yesterday at Beau van Erven Dorens.

While Eva was denying everything to Beau, Johan simultaneously told Today Inside that he once again called Sam and that he has confirmed the story once again. Although Johan has now called Eva and he now believes that it was intended as a joke, according to him it did happen.

‘Sam van Royen was there!’

Yesterday Johan revealed for the first time the name of the boy who linked Eva: Sam van Royen. “I accused Jinek of uncollegial behavior because she would have said after the last broadcast: ‘It’s great that Today Inside got off the TV!’ She called me today and she was very concerned about that.”

He continues: “She had not slept last night and I find that annoying, because Eva Jinek is a great woman and we also have a very good relationship with that, but she apparently did not realize that Sam van Royen, an editor of us, there with Eus…”

Wilfred Genee: “Oh, are you going to throw that on the table now too?”

“She really said it!”

Johan: “Well no, if you present the facts, then those are the facts… He was there with Eus and we consulted him this afternoon and he says: ‘She really said it.’ Eva couldn’t remember, but she did apologize a little. She says, ‘Yeah, we had an after party, I had a drink and then I get a little squeamish.’”

“And Sam said, ‘She gave her a word of thanks to her team, saying, ‘You’re the best team I’ve ever worked with, you did a fantastic job, we even got Today Inside off the air.’ Eva says : ‘If I said that, I can’t remember, it was meant as a joke.’”

Just kidding

Eva has also not denied to Wilfred that she has said something about VI. Wilfred: “She said to me: ‘I just mentioned that next year we might have a better chance of increasing our viewing figures, because one competitor has disappeared.’”

Johan: “I completely rely on the witness, I was not there.”

Hélène Hendriks: “But it’s not all that bad, is it? There is more shouting at a company party.”

Wilfred: “It’s a bit bloated, I think. She did joke about it, but wouldn’t we have done that too at some point?”

cool person

Hélène: “Eva is also a really nice person, who would really fit here in terms of humor.”

Johan: “Well, in fact, she said she would like to join us one day.”

Hélène: “She has to do that, she really has to do that.”

Johan: “Eva assured me that she didn’t know she had said it, she couldn’t remember, but that could also be because she had a drink. But it certainly wasn’t uncollegial or meant to be, but then it was more of a joke.”

Hélène: “Eva shouldn’t be so concerned. That’s just a nice person.”
