The lines of the Regional Song Contest are closed. You could vote for the musical brothers Sam and Merijn between a quarter to ten and ten o’clock. The two brothers from Geertruidenberg will represent Brabant during the Regional Song Contest on Saturday evening. Here they sang their song ‘Cheers to life’.
The Regional Song Contest can be followed live by Omroep Brabant via television, website, app, social media, radio and YouTube. This is the very first edition organized by the thirteen regional broadcasters in the Netherlands. Each province delegates an artist, with the aim of making a profit.
Ultimately, the winner of the first edition will be determined two-thirds by a professional jury and one-third by the audience at home. The winner goes home with an award and eternal fame.
