‘Spain wants to exclude Israel from the Eurovision Song Contest with a secret vote’
According to various media, Spanish broadcaster José Pablo López, together with seven other countries, has called for a secret vote on Israel’s participation in the Eurovision Song Contest, much against the wishes of a number of countries. Ukraine wanted to stop it. But the call has enough support with eight countries to allow it to go ahead. The vote will probably take place on Thursday evening, but the question is also whether this vote will be binding.
