Europol police organization launches Operation Oscar on Monday. In doing so, it assists the member states of the European Union that are investigating the circumvention of trade and economic sanctions due to the Russian invasion of Ukraine. The operation also targets criminal assets of individuals and legal entities against whom sanctions have been imposed.
