European PP | Search the offices of the European People’s Party in Brussels for a corruption case

The Belgian Federal Police has searched this Tuesday the offices of the European People’s Party (EPP) in Brussels regarding a corruption investigation started in Germany, according to sources from the political formation itself.

The European party “is cooperating in full transparency” with the authorities involved and offering all the information and documentation required, as indicated by the PPE in a statement released after learning of the records and warning that it will not make any further comments.

The same sources have warned that Voigt does not hold any position in the European People’s Party but does assumed the tasks of the online electoral campaign of the formation in the elections to the European Parliament of 2019elections led by the current president of the EPP, also German Manfred Weber.
