European Commissioner Virginijus Sinkevičius (Environment) is “optimistic” that the European Parliament will support a European nature restoration law in Strasbourg on Wednesday. He said this after hours of plenary debate on the controversial proposal, in which supporters and opponents tried to bend what was expected to be a very tense mood.
