European Commission expects significantly lower economic growth in 2023

The European Commission has revised its economic growth forecasts for next year downwards. Compared to her May forecasts, the eurozone economy is expected to grow by only 1.4 percent in 2023 instead of 2.3 percent. The Belgian growth forecast for next year is being revised from 1.8 to 1.3 percent. Sky-high inflation is expected to fall in the course of next year.
