After four gold medals on Friday, the German canoeists want to play a very good role on the second day of the European Championships, where medals are at stake in Munich-Oberschleißheim. At the start, two out of three boats reached the finals.
In the kayak doubles, Jonas Draeger and Moritz Florstedt won their semi-final over 200 meters ahead of Spain and Sweden. A short time later, the Draeger from Dresden made it into the final as the winner of his semi-final. In the Canadian race, Fabien Schatz missed out on being sixth in the semifinals.
