Status: 08/21/2022 10:52 a.m

At the start of the last day of the European Championships in Munich there was one gold medal and two fourth places in the canoe competitions.

Paracanoeist Edina Müller won gold over 200 meters in class KL1 with a European record. The Paralympic and World Champion started strong, winning by 1.595 seconds over Italy’s Eleonora de Paolis. Third was Maryna Mazhula (Ukraine/+ 1.883 s). Müller had already achieved gold at the 2012 Paralympics in London – at that time in wheelchair basketball.

Felicia Laberer finished fourth in the kayak single over 200 meters after a botched start, as did Anja Adler. The woman from Halle in class KL2 had actually had no desire for this thankless placement. The Berliner Laberer starts in the class with the least limitation, the KL3. Anas Al Khalifa finished fifth in KL1.

A total of 15 medal decisions with German participation are pending today on the regatta course in Munich-Oberschleißheim.

On the last day of competition at the European Championships in Munich, there are six finals in para-canoeing – four with German participation. The full-length broadcast.
