The European Handball Championship games in Munich are almost sold out.
As Olympiapark GmbH announced before the start in the Olympiahalle on Thursday, only a few seat tickets are available on three out of six match days.
On the remaining three days, however, only standing room tickets can be purchased. The Olympic Hall officially holds 12,000 spectators at the European Championships.
The twelve games in preliminary round groups C and F will be played in Munich. The teams involved include three-time and reigning world champions Denmark and Iceland. At the 2019 World Cup, a total of 136,000 tickets were sold for the five match days with 15 matches in Munich.
