European Championship for golfers with disabilities starts in Koksijde

They come from 15 countries, with a Belgian team for the first time in action. And that is not surprising, G-Golf or para golf is still in its infancy with us. But with the European Championship in their own country, they hope to make more people interested in the sport. The European Championship starts today and ends on Saturday.

“Golf without limitations is already very difficult. And when you see some players with one arm or one leg, how they can keep their balance, and still play 200m, that’s incredible. And players without limitations can certainly learn from that.” , says Fanny Cnops of the Belgian Golf Federation.
