From 2027, the European bison, the largest land mammal in Europe, will make its comeback in Belgium. WWF and partners announce that these large grazers will be used in the Bosland National Park in Hechtel-Eksel in Limburg. In the coming months, the site will be prepared for the arrival of bison and wild horses. The aim is to give nature more freedom to develop and increase biodiversity.
