London (AP) – Jesper Lindström sustained a thigh injury in Eintracht Frankfurt’s 2-1 win in the Europa League semifinals at West Ham United and will be absent from the Bundesliga soccer club at least in the next Bundesliga game.
“I don’t know how difficult it is. We’ll definitely do an MRI after returning home on Friday,” said Eintracht coach Oliver Glasner late Thursday evening in London and announced: “He’ll get a break in Leverkusen on Monday. Independent of what comes out of the investigation.” Lindström was substituted in the 62nd minute because of the injury.
