SC Freiburg can look forward to a successful start to the international season: the neighborhood duel against FC Basel in the Europa League won the Breisgauer solidly with 2-1. Patrick Osterhage (31st minute) initially put the sports club in the lead, Maximilian Eggestein (57th) increased to 2-0 for Freiburg after the break.
