Frankfurt/Main (AP) – Eintracht Frankfurt travels surprisingly confident of victory to the quarter-final second leg of the Europa League on Thursday at the Spanish top club FC Barcelona.
“We have created a good starting position. Now our very clear goal is to get into the semi-finals,” said Eintracht sports director Markus Krösche after the 2-1 defeat in the Bundesliga game against SC Freiburg. “We’ll go there and beat them.” Frankfurt drew 1-1 in the first leg against the four-time Champions League winner.
