Prominent trio of experts on RTL+: Ansgar Brinkmann, Patrick Helmes and Felix Kroos analyze and comment on the UEFA Europa League and UEFA Europa Conference League.
From the coming season, Ansgar Brinkmann, Patrick Helmes and Felix Kroos will permanently strengthen the European Cup broadcasts on RTL+ in double functions.
The former Bundesliga professionals alternately act as experts on the RTL+ matchday show “Matchday” alongside presenter Anna Kraft or as co-commentators of the top games of the matchday in the individual streams.
Ansgar Brinkmann has been working as an opinionated TV expert for the “Matchday” broadcasts since 2022. Helmes and Kroos regularly impressed as eloquent co-commentators on RTL+ last season.

Europa League and Conference League on RTL Germany
RTL Deutschland holds the full TV rights to the broadcasts of the UEFA Europa League and UEFA Europa Conference League.
Only on RTL+ will football fans see eight selected top games every Thursday at 6:15 p.m. in the coming season starting September 21st, compiled from both competitions, in individual games or as conferences at kick-off times at 6:45 p.m. and 9:00 p.m.
And it will be full in Studio 3 of the RTL broadcast center in Cologne Deutz: Up to six commentators will continue to comment on the conference live on air from the studio backdrop.
From now on, there will also be a community host – analogous to the RTL NFL broadcasts: sports presenter Alessa-Luisa Naujoks, sports reporter Jessica Matyschok and social sports reporter Julius Fellermann will alternately present creative and entertaining contributions from the Internet. Julius Fellermann takes on the first role as community host.
The top game of the match day with German participation will be presented by RTL or NITRO on free TV. Presenter Laura Papendick and TV expert Lothar Matthäus will report to RTL live from Piraeus on September 21st at 8:40 p.m.
In the group phase of the UEFA Europa League, the Greek record champions Olympiacos Piraeus will host the Bundesliga club SC Freiburg, commented by Marco Hagemann and Steffen Freund
