Leipzig (AP) – For RB Leipzig coach Domenico Tedesco, the quarter-finals of the Europa League against Atalanta Bergamo is a special game.
The 36-year-old was born in southern Italy and is a big fan of Serie A. Last year the coach sat in on various clubs in Italy.
The situation:
Leipzig started the extremely important April with a 4-1 win at Borussia Dortmund and have gained a lot of self-confidence in the past few weeks. Under Tedesco, the team plays confidently and is extremely efficient in front of goal. Bergamo lost 3-1 to SSC Napoli, but showed how strong they are in the round of 16 of the Europa League with two wins against Leverkusen.

Leipzig have to do without Amadou Haidara, Yussuf Poulsen and Tyler Adams. The trio is injured and was not part of the permanent staff. Bergamo are worried about the central defense. Captain Rafael Toloi and Berat Djimsiti are missing there.
