The deal is made by the Compagnie Martime Belge (CMB) on the Noorse Frontline, the two largest aandeelhouders of tanker rederij Euronav, is one of the largest deals in the Scheepvaartindustrie in the last decade. “An enormous amount of money,” says CEO Alexander Saverys, who “is that the need never comes to the country”.
And for half a year, he has been working on the Antwerp tanker rederij Euronav in Buitenlandse, sea bepaald Noorse, handen zou Vallen. CMB puts another billion dollars on the table for the concern of Frontline in Euronav.
Saverys benadrukt the Euronav never van deurs zal gaan, iets wat eight years of experience, which was deed with CMB zelf. “We will not ‘delist’ Euronav,” said Saverys verder. “We really want to have a drink.
