Basketball Bundesliga team Alba Berlin has fallen to last place in the EuroLeague.
The Berliners lost to the second-placed Italians Virtus Bologna on Friday (January 5, 2024) with 68:83 (27:48). For Alba it was already the 16th defeat in the 19th game of the season.
This further reduces the already slim chances of making the play-offs. Even the 13 points from world champion Johannes Thiemann, who was the best thrower of the game alongside teammate Matteo Spagnolo, could not prevent Alba’s fourth defeat in a row.
