Euro Hockey League: Cologne loses final, Dusseldorf takes third place

German champions Rot-Weiss Köln have lost the final of the Euro Hockey League again and missed revenge against defending champions HC Bloemendaal.

The 2017 winner lost 1-0 to the defending champion on Easter Monday (April 10, 2023) in Amstelveen. Teun Beins (21st) scored the decisive goal for the Dutch. Last year, Cologne lost 4-0 to Bloemendaal in the final.

Shootouts led Cologne to the final
