If only the European Championship were at stake, we could even face the challenge of Euro 2032 lightly. We haven’t hosted a final phase since 1990 and all in all we survived, although there was a lack of continuity, a World Cup and a European Championship won, two other World Cups seen at the TV. But much more is at stake here: Italian football is at stake.
