Eugen Polanski initially remains a coach at Borussia Mönchengladbach. After the 0-0 against Freiburg, he announces how things will happen.
Borussia Mönchengladbach is still under pressure in the Bundesliga, but coach Eugen Polanski will first receive confidence. After the 0-0 against SC Freiburg, he announced that he would also look after the team in the next game. “After the international break, I can also sit on the bench at Union and look after the team,” said Polanski at the press conference. Accordingly, he is looking forward to the task.
He finds the support from the team, coaching team and club tour as “very, very good”. He perceives this clearly. Until the game at Union Berlin, there are still two weeks in which further discussions would probably take place. His focus was initially on the international break, in which he wanted to work with the remaining players.
Polanski had been raised by the U23 of the U23 of the Borussia by the now resigned sports manager Roland Virkus as the successor to Gerardo Seoane. I think that there was already much more turbulent stories in such a situation. Accordingly, I am looking forward to every single day I am here.” He concentrates “really on the Union game, there is enough to do.”
The victorious Borussia has to go to the Köpenickers on October 17, a week later the home game is waiting against league leaders Bayern Munich. Gladbach is only in 17th place after six match days.
