The European Union denounces Nicaragua’s “unjustified” decision to expel its ambassador from the country and to sever diplomatic relations with the Netherlands. The EU will respond to these “hostile” acts “firmly and proportionately”, European Foreign Policy High Representative Josep Borrell said on Sunday.
