EU countries are not expected to continue negotiations on a sixth sanctions package for Russia until Friday. They have sent the European Commission back to the drafting table to amend some of the proposals. According to EU sources, many countries are criticizing, not just the proposed total boycott of crude oil within six months and of refined oil by the end of the year.
