Italian fashion house Etro has appointed Iacopo Martini as Chief Financial Officer and Alberto Candelero as Chief Commercial & Sustainability Officer. Both report directly to CEO Fabrizio Cardinali, Etro announced on Friday.
Martini comes to Etro from cosmetics supplier Kiko Milano, where he also served as chief financial officer. Before joining Kiko in 2017, he worked at Procter & Gamble. He started his career in 1995 at the US consumer goods group and was most recently CFO of the Italian subsidiary.
Like Cardinali, Candelero comes from Dolce & Gabbana, where he held various positions. At the Italian fashion house, he was responsible for commercial development in Latin America and South Africa, among other things. He later focused on implementing the Travel Retail division. Before Dolce & Gabbana, he worked for Ermenegildo Zegna and was responsible, among other things, for expansion in the South American market.
Etro is owned by private equity firm L Catterton, which has held a majority stake in the fashion house since the middle of last year.
