In this anniversary year, all LOOS presenters will also be put in the spotlight. The quiz is initially presented by Harm Dijkstra. Later Erwin Kikkers took over the leadership and in recent years Aaldert Oosterhuis has been putting the participants through their paces.
What many people may not remember is that LOOS also had a winter version for two years, at the end of 2015 and at the end of 2016. Those editions were filled with questions about events in the past year and the presentation was in the hands of Wolter Klok, who later left for SBS. .
In 2023, a 17-year-old boy suddenly found himself behind the desk at LOOS. Sander Boom from Smilde is by far the youngest participant ever. “I really enjoyed doing it,” says Sander, who now lives in Dronten because of his studies at the agricultural college. “It was also doable, although I didn’t get further than one episode. I think the other participants found it remarkable, probably because I was the youngest.”
